Refunds/BankMobile Vibe Account
HACC partners with BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank to provide refunds to students. BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank is a financial services company. Why should I participate?
You will receive your refund more quickly when you choose the BankMobile Vibe account.
How do I participate?
You must select your preference to receive a refund through the BankMobile Vibe account.
You will receive a Refund Selection Kit from BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank and a personal code in the mail if you are eligible. This is a separate piece of mail in a bright green envelope. You will receive the enrollment package about one week before your first term. It allows you to select your refund preference.
- Do not discard the enrollment package. You will need the personal code to select your refund preference.
- Select your refund option within two business days. It requires selection even if you do not anticipate a tuition or financial aid refund.
Is the debit card a credit card?
This is NOT A CREDIT CARD. You do not have to use the debit card. It is only one of three options for receiving your refund. You MUST have the personal code to choose your individual refund preference.
Am I eligible to receive refunds electronically?
You are not eligible to receive refunds electronically if you are a:
- Guest student
- F-1 student
- College in the High School student
- Provisional admit student
- Dual enrollment student
What are my refund options?
HACC offers two electronic refund options/preferences:
- BankMobile Vibe Account
- Electronic transfer (ACH) to an existing bank account
- Paper Check Delivered by USPS
Are there fees associated with the debit card?
If you select the BankMobile Vibe account as your refund method, you are agreeing to a banking financial relationship with BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank. I lost my card. Can I get a new one?
BankMobile Vibe charges a $10 replacement card fee. The fee is due at the time of re-ordering an active card.
