What is the cost of attendance?

The Cost of Attendance (COA) is also known as the "Student Budget." It includes almost everything related to college expenses for one academic year. This includes:

  • Books/supplies
  • Living allowances
  • Transportation
  • Personal costs
COA will vary from college to college.

How much is the cost of attendance? 

Below is the estimated COA for an in-state student attending HACC for the 2013-14 academic year (Aug-May). 

  • We base tuition and fees for a full-time student on an enrollment status of 12 credits per term. It is $240 per in-state credit. 
  • We base tuition and fees for a part-time student on an enrollment status of seven credits per term. It is $240 per in-state credit.

You will receive a 35% discount on your tuition if you have a certificate of residency
