There are two graduation ceremonies per year. Learn about graduating from HACC.
How do I apply to graduate?
Apply online by logging in to myHACC, select the Student tab, then Apply to Graduate. You may also submit a graduation application (pdf) to the Registrar's Office at graduation@hacc.edu.
Which graduation ceremony will I be able to attend?
Your graduation date will depend on when you:
- Complete your last course.
- Apply online by logging in to myHACC, select the Student tab, then Apply to Graduate.
When are the graduation ceremonies?
December Ceremony:
- HACC invites you to participate in the December commencement ceremony if you are eligible to graduate in the Fall Term.
- The deadline to apply to graduate and have your name included in commencement program is October 1. HACC will mail commencement information in October.
- HACC will mail your diploma after we post grades for the Fall Term (December).
May Ceremony:
- HACC invites you to participate in the May commencement ceremony if you are eligible to graduate in the Spring or Summer Term.
- The deadline to apply to graduate and have your name included in the commencement program is March 1. HACC will mail commencement information in March.
- HACC will mail your diploma after we post grades for the appropriate term —Spring (May), Summer (August).
When will I get my diploma?
HACC mails your diploma upon completion of the requested program. This process may take up to four weeks.
How can I get immediate verification of my degree completion?
Request an official transcript for immediate verification of your degree completion. Your unofficial transcript will also indicate your degree award.
