Commencement is a time to celebrate our graduating students and their achievements. HACC holds two ceremonies each year.
Students who have applied to graduate by the deadline will get an invitation to the ceremony via their HAWKMail email.
HACC holds Commencement ceremonies in May and December.
Graduating students can join the December ceremony if they are eligible to graduate in the fall semester.
They can participate in the May ceremony if they are eligible to graduate in the spring or summer semesters.
The ceremony you attend depends on when you complete your last class and graduation application.

You can buy your cap, gown and other Commencement gear at HACC's bookstore.
If you're a Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) member, you can get graduation stoles and other accessories at the PTK store.
HACC will mail your diploma after you complete your program. This happens once final grades are posted for the semester.

This process may take up to four weeks.
To get immediate verification of your degree completion, please request an official transcript. You can also check your unofficial transcript, which shows your degree award.
When you graduate, you become part of a network of 110,000 alumni worldwide through the HACC Alumni Association! Joining is free, and your membership starts right after graduation.
