Massage Therapy

HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, offers industry-accredited, affordable training in therapeutic massage techniques and education about the human body, while supporting students’ personal growth as they prepare for a role in the healthcare community. All instructors in the program are professional licensed massage therapists.

The Massage Therapy Program at HACC is recognized by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). HACC is also approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education approved provider.

HACC’s Massage Therapy Program prepares students to sit for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx).

Massage therapy graduates can apply 30 credits toward an associate degree in health science.

HACC’s Massage Therapy Program is located at our Harrisburg Campus.

The Massage Therapy Program is 900 hours. Full-time students can complete the program in seven months and part-time students can complete the program in one year.

Classes begin in January (part-time program) and September (full-time program).

Tuition is $12,800, which includes all supplies and one studio polo shirt. This does not include the cost of textbooks.  Massage Therapy students qualify for financial aid, Stafford loans and Pell grants and can apply for HACC scholarships.
