We invite you to attend a health careers information session to learn more about our programs, the admission process, clinicals, and selective admission process.

What do information sessions cover?
An information session typically covers the following things. RSVP is required. Sessions are open to current and potential students.
- Hear from the program faculty and current students
- Get career information
- Learn about the essential qualifications (physical and behavioral)
- Learn about curriculum and expenses
- Find out what to expect in clinicals, including time commitments
- Learn about selective admission criteria, process, point system and class selection
- Get information on background checks, health forms, drug and alcohol screening, and other requirements
When are information sessions?
Email RSVP IS REQUIRED as space is limited. Be sure to include your name, HACC ID, phone and email address, along with date and time of session you wish to attend.
Attend a mandatory information Cardiovascular Technology (CVT - sonography and invasive) session. If you are applying for CVT clinicals in 2022 you MUST attend one of these sessions. Future students as well as current students are welcome to attend.

Attend a mandatory 45-minute Dental Assisting information session. These sessions will include a detailed overview of the program and a tour of the dental facilities. Information sessions are held on the Harrisburg Campus, Select Medical Room 105. RSVP Required.

Attend a (60-minute) Dental Hygiene program mandatory information session that includes a tour of our dental facility.

Attend a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) information session during your first semester at HACC - Preregistration required - email RSVPDMS@hacc.edu - include your name, HACCID, phone number and email address and which date you plan to attend. Space is limited!

Attend a mandatory 45-minute Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA) information session. These sessions will include a detailed overview of the program as well as information on how to apply. Information sessions are held via Zoom. RSVP Required.

Attend a Massage Therapy program virtual information session Explore HACC's massage program virtually.

Attend a Rad Tech (X-ray) mandatory pre-application information session held during spring semester. These are all held via Zoom. Email FROM YOUR HAWKMAIL (if you are a current student) your RSVP to tlburkho@hacc.edu. Provide your name, HACC ID, phone number and the date/time you plan to attend then you will receive Zoom information via email. Sessions last about an hour.

Attend a Surgical Technology information session - HARRISBURG CAMPUS. Open to everyone. Required for students within one year of applying for clinicals. Preregistration required - email rsvpsurg@hacc.edu - include your name, HACCID, phone number and email address and indicate Surg Tech information session. Space is limited! Zoom link will be emailed to your HACC Hawkmail email ONE day before the zoom session from Megan Tracy, mltracey@hacc.edu, Health Careers Administrative Specialist.

Attend a Nursing (RN & LPN) information session. Preregistration required. Sessions tend to last about two hours - one hour presentation followed by a question/answer period. Get answers to all your nursing questions and learn about the following:
