HACC Foundation to Provide Full-Ride Scholarships for Students from Historically Underrepresented Groups

Note: This content was revised on May 22, 2024.

We are grateful to PNC for their support of our students. We are no longer accepting applications for this scholarship.

Too many historically underrepresented people have been abused, traumatized or killed by police officers. Too many have had their pain ignored by healthcare providers. Too many people have been trapped in the legal system without advocates in their corner.

What if you could make a difference in these fields?

The PNC Foundation awarded a $112,500 grant to the HACC Foundation that will provide full-ride scholarships for current and future HACC students who enroll in the following HACC programs:

These full-ride scholarships are for current and future HACC students who belong to historically underrepresented groups. These groups may include but are not limited to:

  • Adult learners (ages 25+)
  • Black, Indigenous and people of color
  • Economically disadvantaged individuals
  • Individuals from different religious backgrounds
  • Individuals with disabilities
  • Members of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • New Americans, immigrants or refugees
  • Veterans
  • Women

Individuals selected to participate in this program will be called PNC Foundation Social Justice Scholars.
