HACC’s admissions application system is scheduled to be upgraded Oct. 4-9. During this time, future students will not be able to submit an admissions application. Please visit start.hacc.edu to learn more. Thank you for your patience.
For more information about any of the Honors transfer agreements and further assistance, contact the Honors Program at honors@hacc.edu
At this time, HACC Honors students can take advantage of Honors transfer agreements with the following colleges and universities:
Full-time Albright College students (enrolled in 3 or more courses a semester) with a final HACC grade point average (GPA) could receive a scholarship Founders Scholarship in the amount of $32,000 with GPA of 3.8 or higher, Presidential Scholarship in the amounts of $25,000 - $28,000 with a GPA of 3.0 – 3.7, Albright Scholarship in the amounts of $14,000 - $24,000 with a GPA of 2.4 - 2.9, or Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship in the amounts of $28,000 or $32,000 with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
All students accepted into the Honors Program at Elizabethtown College through this agreement will be eligible for a dean, provost, or presidential merit scholarship, as determined by the Elizabethtown College Office of Admissions.
Beginning in their first year at HACC, all dual admission agreement students will join a cohort of peers and current transfer students at F&M and be assigned two advisers: a faculty member and a College House Dean (a professional staff member assigned to our five residential communities). Students also will have immediate access to helpful F&M resources, including the advisory team at F&M’s Office of Student and Postgraduate Development (OSPGD). Additionally, dual admission students may take one F&M course — free of charge — before transferring to F&M, where they will take part in a special orientation program with other members of their cohort and fellow transfer students.
While enrolled full-time at HACC, students must remain in good standing based on HACC’s academic and honors program requirements. Students maintaining a 3.4 GPA at HACC are guaranteed admission to F&M. Any student with a GPA below 3.4 will be required to reapply to F&M as a priority transfer student. There will be no application fee for these students.
Students meeting the criteria listed in the transfer agreement will be able to apply to Goucher with the application fee waived, be considered for a transfer merit scholarship up to $20,000 depending on GPA, and receive an additional $2,000 scholarship if a member of Phi Theta Kappa or an additional $2,500 if they have completed their associate degree with a minimum of 12 honors credits and a minimum GPA of 3.5.
