A Note from Kathleen: My background is in post-secondary teaching, the law, and nonprofits. I have been involved in higher education for many years in a variety of capacities from teaching, club advising, and various administrative roles as well which have included working with internships and experiential learning ops. Yet, I know there is still much to learn.

Personally, I have a diverse ethnic background and from a student's perspective I have been a 2 year, 4 year and graduate student. So hopefully they can relate to me in that aspect. I have lived in and amongst the different socio-economic classes as well. I like to believe I am well rounded, but more importantly grounded in the ways that count -- being kind, respecting folks, working as a team, and promoting education, always.

I am looking forward to working with everyone here at HACC and learning from all of you!
