April 7, 2025

LANCASTER, Pa. – On April 1-2, 2025, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, merged its Humanities Symposium and Wildwood Writers’ Festival into a two-day celebration of literature, culture and storytelling. This event featured presentations and discussions from a wide variety of scholars and creatives.

Held on HACC’s Lancaster Campus, the festival’s theme of “Real and Imagined Worlds” allowed attendees to engage with presenters on interdisciplinary topics and experience live musical performances. Additionally, viewing parties at HACC’S Harrisburg and York campuses encouraged remote participation in the festivities.

Tondelaya George, D.M., associate dean of HACC’s School of Liberal Arts, said, “HACC’s dedication to literature and the humanities was on full display. This event created space for meaningful dialogue and showcased the depth of creative talent within our region.”
