HARRISBURG, Pa. – The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit educational trust established to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, welcomed a new member to the HACC Foundation Board.
Eric Hagarty is the managing director in Pennsylvania for Mercury Public Affairs, a bipartisan strategic consulting firm. Hagarty has worked on political campaigns and in government, most recently as the secretary of education for Governor Tom Wolf. When asked why he joined the HACC Foundation Board, Hagarty said, “I myself am a community college product. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be a dual enrollment student at the Everett Community College in Washington State while also in high school. This experience shaped who I am today and empowered me to earn a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington afterward.
