“Teaching Physics” (whether for the first or 50th time) is sponsored by the Central Pennsylvania Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers. It runs from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in room 230 of Blocker Hall.
This workshop will be a sharing of methods and ideas for physics or physical science teachers of all experience levels. Participants are invited to bring and share a favorite activity, demonstration or laboratory that has been effective. In addition to learning teaching techniques, data analysis and some laboratory examples, the workshop will be a day of sharing what works for you with other physics teachers.
The workshop precedes the fall meeting of the executive board of the AAPT/CPS which is being hosted by HACC on Nov. 22.
Cost of the workshop is $60. Checks should be made payable to AAPT/CPS and mailed to Professor Gregory Dolise, HACC – B232F, One HACC Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
