Managers who want to learn how to control multiple projects, competing priorities and demanding deadlines, should plan to attend a one-day seminar offered by HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College at either its Lancaster or Harrisburg campuses. Scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the seminar will be held in Lancaster on Tuesday, May 9, in the East Building, Room 203, and in Harrisburg on Friday, May 12, in the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center.

In addition to learning how to control multiple priorities, "Supervisory Skills for Today's Manager" will help managers create the team they need, develop the tools needed in today's professional world and provide networking opportunities and tips.

The morning sessions will focus on organizing for efficiency and leading to success, as well as how to get the best from your employees in the 21st Century.

"The role of today's manager has changed," said Rebecca Clark, conference leader. "In today's business environment, the manager is more coach, developer, influencer, stimulator of collaboration. They need to manage multiple projects and know how to do it all in a limited amount of time. People who want to focus on how to do that better and how they can influence people to do their jobs better, should attend this seminar."

The afternoon includes a session on "Coaching to Success" or how to plan for and facilitate long-term growth for your team. The seminar will wrap up with a final session on how to develop a comprehensive action plan-create a vision, build the plan and implement your strategy.

The cost of the seminar is $199, which includes all sessions, lunch, free parking and course materials. For reservations, please call HACC's Noncredit Registration Desk at 717-780-2414 or visit www.hacc.edu/noncredit.
