Visitors to the event can find out how and where to get the best jobs in health care. They will have an opportunity to learn about HACC's 28 health career programs, admissions and financial aid options.
Information will be available about Pennsylvania's fastest growing health careers, including cardiovascular technology, dental assisting and hygiene, medical assisting, medical laboratory technology, imaging technologies, respiratory therapy, surgical technology, EMT/Paramedic, nurse aide and pharmacy technician.
Some of the programs, like respiratory therapy and dental hygiene, have a number of hands-on type activities to demonstrate the type of equipment used in a particular field. Visitors can also learn about what practicing medicine was like in the Civil War era at the display featuring 19th century artifacts.
