Anyone considering a career in engineering and technology is invited to attend a free career exploration event at HACC this month. Central Pennsylvania's Community College will host "Exploring Careers in Engineering and Technology 2005" on Tuesday, October 18, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the college's C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center on the Harrisburg Campus.

Students, parents, career changers, educators, counselors and those advising students with technical interests are encouraged to attend.

Area engineering professionals, as well as HACC faculty, will be on hand to discuss opportunities and careers in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering. The event also will include discussion on geospatial technology and its impact on the future.
