HACC's winter commencement ceremony is rescheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Cooper Student Center at the Harrisburg Campus. Monday's ceremony did not take place due to a bomb threat. Graduates can report to the same location at the same time as before.

College spokesman Patrick Early said a higher level of security will be in place for the ceremony Wednesday.

"We're working to install specialized equipment to record and track threatening calls to help eliminate this problem," Early said. "On Wednesday security officers will 'sweep' the building, keeping unused rooms locked. They will also check handbags and backpacks at the door tomorrow evening."

Guests of graduates will not need tickets, however it is requested that everyone abide by the guest limit. If graduates prefer, they are welcome to attend the spring graduation ceremony in May. Graduates may contact HACC's office of student life if they have questions, telephone (717) 780-2525.
