The Lancaster Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) offers numerous classes designed to teach fulfilling skills in as little as one session.

Among such classes, Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People will be offered on Saturday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This fun class teaches the secrets of professional piano players without years of weekly lessons. In just one workshop, students will learn enough to provide years of musical enjoyment playing popular songs the way the pros do.

As seen on television, the chord techniques taught in this workshop are identical to the ones taught on the PBS program, "Piano in a Flash" by Scott Houston.

This method is easy, fun and will have complete beginners playing the piano with both hands in just one 3-1/2 hour workshop.

Dancing The Night Way is recommended for couples and will be offered on two Tuesdays, March 16 and 23, from 7:30-9 p.m.

Participants will learn fast and slow dances for weddings, cruises and nights on the town. They will learn to swing to the Big Band sounds and the music of the 50s, 60s and top 40s.

Drawing - Intermediate will be offered on six Tuesdays, March 23-April 27, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

This is a course for the person who is familiar with the basic skills and concepts of drawing. Techniques with pastels, pen and ink, conte pencil, pencil crayon and charcoal will be explored.

This class is a follow-up course of Basic Drawing. A list of basic supplies students will need to purchase will be provided the first night of class.

Many other Community Education classes are offered at the Lancaster Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College located at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. Information may be obtained by accessing the college's Website or by calling (717) 358-2901.
