The Adult Living and Learning Seminars will be held at the HACC Campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, on Tuesday, Oct. 12. The day will start with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. and includes a buffet luncheon and three 1-1/2-hour sessions concluding at 2 p.m.
The event is open to adults of all ages. Each of the three sessions includes eight course offerings. Those registering select a first and second choice for each session.
Cost for the one-day program is $45. Registration deadline is Oct. 5. Early registration is recommended by calling (717) 338-1010 or visiting hacc.edu/gettysburg.
Session 1, from 8:30-10 a.m., includes a choice of the following classes: Renoir in Paris, Dreams and their Meaning, In Pursuit of Archaeology's Greatest Mystery, Posture Smart: Exercises to Improve Your Posture, Understanding Pennsylvania Taxes, Keeping a Journal for Peace & Prosperity, Are You as Rich as You Want to Be? and What You Need to Know About Digital Photography.
Session 2, from 10:15-11:45 a.m. includes the following classes: Van Gogh in Southern France, Ghosts and Paranormal Phenomenon, In Pursuit of Archaeology's Greatest Mystery, Civil War Neighbors on the Taneytown Road, Understanding Pennsylvania Taxes, Keeping a Journal for Peace & Prosperity, Are We Having Fun Yet? and What You Need to Know About Digital Photography.
Session 3, from 12:30-2 p.m., includes the following classes: Gauguin in Tahiti, Witches and the Burning Times, Civil War Neighbors on the Taneytown Road, In Pursuit of Archaeology's Greatest Mystery, Understanding Pennsylvania Taxes, Keeping a Journal for Peace & Prosperity, Are You as Rich as You Want to Be? and What You Need to Know About Digital Photography.
