Wedding consultants, bed and breakfasts, jewelers, printers, florists, balloon artists and many others who want to sell to brides and grooms can benefit from some marketing advice available in a new seminar offered by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College.

My Customers are Brides and Grooms convenes on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 6-9 p.m., at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies located at Three Penn Center, Suite 237, 349 Wiconisco Street, Harrisburg. Cost for the seminar is $25.

The wedding industry can be fun, and there are great opportunities to collaborate with other entrepreneurs to improve marketing effectiveness and reduce promotion costs.

Case studies of theme weddings and best practices in bridal marketing will be presented. Class participants will learn ideas for promoting their business through learning about the customs and folklore of the marriage event. They are invited to bring stories about the best and worst weddings they have attended.

The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies also features a Business Start-up Center, offering free counseling with business professionals, and Women's Marketplace, which offers free marketing advice for women with businesses from concept to three years old.
