Class will meet at the Cemetery on Steinwehr Avenue on Wednesday, April 21, from 6-8 p.m.
Soldiers National Cemetery at Gettysburg was created to meet the need to bury the Union dead after the Battle of Gettysburg. Today the cemetery holds nearly 7,000 veterans up through the Vietnam war years, as well as interesting monuments and memorials.
The class will stroll through the Cemetery to hear about its history and the men who are buried there.
Registration for this class and information on many other community education, professional development, and workforce training classes is available in HACC's Spring 2004 Noncredit Course Schedule available on the Web site below or by calling (717) 338-1010.
