The Gettysburg Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) plans to celebrate National Nurse Week by inviting more individuals to the field. On Monday, May 3 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., HACC will host an information session about the RN Nursing Program.

The program will also include discussions on "Becoming a Gettysburg HACC Pre-Nursing Student" and "How to Pay for a HACC Nursing Education." The information session will take place at HACC's Gettysburg Hospital Healthcare Learning Center, located in the mall adjacent to the HACC campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road.

"We get many calls about our associate degree in nursing program," said Marilyn Teeter, coordinator of the Gettysburg Nursing Program at HACC. "People want to know - How do I get started in nursing? How do I pay for it? On May 3rd, community members and potential students can learn about the HACC nursing program and about the admission, application, and financial aid processes - all in one information session."

To RSVP and for more information, call 337-3855 x 3045.
