The hotel management software, with a value of $30,000, was donated to HACC through the efforts of local Days Inn owner Finn, Days Inns Worldwide, Inc., and Multi Systems, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona. As one of the world¹s largest hotel franchises, more than 400 of Days Inns' 1,933 properties use the property management software by MSI. The system will be used by HACC collegewide, including the new Lancaster Campus facility, where the hospitality program will be offered beginning with the fall 2001 semester.

"HACC is most appreciative of this generous gift from Days Inns Worldwide, MSI, and particularly Mr. Finn," says Professor Kassahun. "This is a tremendous opportunity for HACC students in hospitality programs to learn, hands-on, a comprehensive computer system that organizes all facets of running a hotel that can provide them with additional marketable skills for the workplace."
