Please note:
a. Employees who work on the Harrisburg Campus should work with their supervisor to determine their working modality for March 5.
b. Only essential personnel from the Facilities and Real Estate Department and the Public Safety and Security Department should report to the Harrisburg Campus.
c. During this time, on-campus resources at the Harrisburg Campus will not be available.
d. Students can access the Welcome Center, financial aid, academic advising, career services, admissions and the bursar online or at another HACC campus.
e. All classes on March 5, 2026 (a spring break date), will be canceled, through distance education or moved to another location. Students with classes on this date should confer with their instructor.
f. Employees with external partners should share this information accordingly.
Youth from ages five to 18 can participate in age-appropriate classes in topics such as Theatre Fun, the Acting Experience, Stage Make-up and Audition Techniques. The eight week classes are held on March 24, 31; April 7, 14, 21; May 5, 12, and 19.
For more than twenty years, Harrisburg Area Community College has offered outstanding children's theatre to the Harrisburg area. Theatre for Young People was created to provide an affordable venue for area young people to celebrate and gain exposure to every aspect of theatre including, but not limited to, acting, dance, makeup, puppetry, play writing, and designing sets, costumes and lighting.
TYP continues the tradition of providing excellence in children's theatre by maintaining exceptional standards while developing each individual's creative potential.
