HACC students, faculty and staff have wonderful and innovative ideas for programs and projects that will support HACC and its students. To ensure those projects receive appropriate funding and are properly coordinated, the Office of College Advancement (OCA) must be made aware of major fundraising projects. Examples of major fundraising projects are soliciting off-campus individuals and organizations for monetary contributions (checks and cash) and nonmonetary contributions (gift cards, for example). This includes crowdfunding to support HACC-related activities, such as travel and conference attendance. Students seeking support for tuition or other educational expenses should visit http://www.hacc.edu/Paying/. If you are interested in crowdfunding and plan to raise at least $1,000, please indicate your plans in your proposed plan below. Please visit HACC’s crowdfunding page to view current and past campaigns. All crowdfunding for HACC-related activities must be conducted through HACC’s Peer-to-Peer iDonate portal. You will need to provide information about your fundraising campaign following the steps outlined in the student, club and employee-initiated crowdfunding checklist. If your crowdfunding campaign is approved, an Office of College Advancement (OCA) colleague will help you create and implement the campaign.

The OCA team does NOT need to be made aware of internal fundraising projects. Examples of internal fundraising projects are bake sales on campus and car washes to raise operational funds for student or employee organizations.

The HACC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 1985 to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC. For donors to receive tax benefits, all gifts or donations must be processed through the Foundation.

Please complete the online request form below. Once submitted, a committee comprised of Office of College Advancement fundraisers and campus leaders will review the request. You will be notified of the decision within five business days after receipt of your request.

Thank you!
