Stonewall Documentary Screening and Discussion - LGBTQ+ Student Union

Date: Friday October 29, 2021 (This event occurred in the past.)
Time: 6:00 PM
  • Description:

Directed by Ro Haber and created by a predominantly queer and trans cast and crew, this documentary from NYC’s LGBT Community Center brings together voices from queer activisits, experienced and new, to explore the movement for LGBTQ+ rights before, during, and after the Stonewall Riots. It highlights trans people, people of color, and homeless people who were at the forefront of the movement, and who have often been erased from the narrative. After the screening, there will be a discussion where you can voice your thoughts and opinions.

    All are welcome.
