LGBTQ+ Microaggressions and How to Intervene - Student Involvement

    This 60 minute session is designed to help attendees understand the concept and impact of LGBTQ+ microaggressions. In order to ensure that attendees understand the definition and social and emotional impact of microaggressions, LGBT Center of Central PA will begin with a microaggression lesson. Then attendees will review real examples of LGB and T microaggressions. The presenter will also take an intersectional approach in an effort to help attendees understand that microaggressions can be rooted in all oppressions and prejudices.

    All students, faculty and staff are welcome.
