Youth in Action: Reclaiming the Stage
- Description:
Free Online Program
W.A.R.E welcomes all HACC students, staff and faculty to attend the online symposium presented by the National Museum of the American Indian Smithsonian. This will be a conversation with young Indigenous actors and playwrights who are reimaging Native American representation on the stage. The question of the hour will be; can changing theater change the world? The panelists in the online symposium are Tara Moses (Seminole Nation of Oklahoma), Emily Preis (Citizen of the Osage Nation), and Isabella Madrigal (Cahuilla and Turtle Mountain Chippewa). Moderated by DeLanna Studi (Cherokee).
The program is free but registration is highly recommended. A registration link will be emailed to registrants prior to the program.
All are welcomed. Presented by the National Museum of the American Indian Smithsonian.
