Volunteer Opportunity: 10th Annual Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup

• Description:

  Join us in making Harrisburg a cleaner and safer place to live, work, and play by volunteering at the Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup! Our cleanup areas include Allison Hill, Uptown, and Midtown in Harrisburg. Last year, with over 200 volunteers, we disposed of 4,620 lbs. of trash and recycled 399 tires! The Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup (GHLC) is an initiative of Tri County Community Action, Clean & Green Harrisburg, and Keep Harrisburg/Dauphin County Beautiful.

   

  During registration you can pick a specific street to clean or we can direct you to the area of greatest need. You can also form a team if you have a group who would like to clean up a street together.
