Join Student Involvement on Tuesday, Feb. 15, as we welcome Dr. Karen Hinton-Polite, of KEP Consulting, LLC, a Life Coaching, Consulting, and Public Speaking business, and HACC Professor Emerita. Dr. Hinton-Polites’ presentation will include a discussion about the resilience of African Americans in the face of great adversity. This presentation will also include a summary of Cultural Humility and Whiteness theory as a lens to begin to view social change. This presentation will conclude with Q&A. Attendees can expect to learn and be challenged by this very relevant topic!
