Finding a Career You Will LOVE Based on Your Personality Type!-Still exploring careers? The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment that will help you explore careers that are attractive to your personality preferences. Join us this Valentine’s season and complete the MBTI assessment. Pre-registration is required AND the MBTI assessment must be completed prior to the event. Major Confusion! Going from Undecided to Decided;-Are you majorly confused about choosing a major? Are you undecided of your academic or career goals? It’s not uncommon to be undecided or change your mind when you start college. Now is a great time to start exploring to get on the right path. Attend this workshop and learn about the various factors to explore to find the right major for you. There will be an interactive activity that will help you get started in the process!
Writing Resumes with IMPACT! - You be the judge. What makes a resume stand out? How will I know if my resume will grab the reader's attention? Am I including the best information? Come find out! In this event you'll get the chance to sit in the "reviewer" seat--see what to look for when reviewing a resume to help develop your own!
Helping Professions- Which is Right for YOU?Helping careers come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you would like to work directly with those in need or help on a broader scale by serving society more widely, learn how to find your niche in these different helping careers and perhaps be introduced to ones that you may have never considered
Draw Your Career:A picture is worth a thousand words! Are you undecided of your major or career goals? Come attend this fun career exploration event! You will be guided through a visualization activity which will have you develop goals and draw YOUR career path.
No artistic skills necessary! Come with an open mind, a blank piece of paper, and any drawing utensils of your choice.

Engaging in an experiential learning opportunity allows you to become more employable! So, Career Connections Week (CCW) introduces you to different experiential learning workshops to help you do just that! The workshops may be hybrid (in-person & virtual) or virtual (locations subject to change when necessary). CCW workshop dates are in BOLD below. Explore, discover, and connect to the right career path for YOU!
Participate in the Scavenger Hunt during the week for the opportunity to win a prize (only three prizes will be awarded); you must register by emailing careerservices@hacc.edu to request the Scavenger Hunt document in advance. In order to participate in the Scavenger Hunt, you must register and attend at least two workshops.
