Tuition is affordable at HACC.

HACC is lowering tuition for most students beginning fall 2027! Nothing changes for the 2026-27 academic year (including summer 2027), and students’ current financial aid will continue as it does today. Advisors, the Welcome Center and the Financial Aid Department can answer questions about what the new rates mean for students and their families. Please visit this webpage for details about this update: hacc.edu/TuitionUpdate.

How much is tuition?

We have three rates of tuition based on where you live:

  1. Sponsored in-state residency: You live in one of 22 sponsoring school districts in Pennsylvania. Certain school districts will pay a portion of your tuition. You must submit your certificate of residence to be eligible for sponsored district rates. Learn more about the sponsoring school districts.
  2. Non-sponsored in-state residency: You live in Pennsylvania and are not sponsored by a school district. Pennsylvania residents qualify for in-state tuition rates. Learn more about the requirements for state residency.
  3. Out-of-state residency: You live outside the state of Pennsylvania.

In the following charts, please see the breakdown of your tuition and fees along with your total cost based on the number of credits you take.
