HARRISBURG, Pa.HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is proud to announce a new partnership with SCPa Works to support computer numerical control (CNC) machining training for 10 individuals, expanding access to in-demand technical skills and strengthening the region’s workforce pipeline.

Through this collaboration, participants will receive hands-on training in CNC machining, a critical skill in modern manufacturing. The program is designed to prepare individuals for high-growth careers by providing both technical instruction and real-world applications.

“We are excited to partner with SCPa Works to create meaningful pathways into advanced manufacturing careers,” said Holly Simmons, director of community education at HACC. “By investing in workforce development and skills training, we are helping individuals build sustainable careers while supporting the needs of local employers.”

“SCPa Works is excited to partner with HACC to expand access to high-quality CNC machining training opportunities across our region,” said Jesse McCree, CEO of SCPa Works. “HACC has a strong track record of delivering impactful workforce and technical education programs that connect people to real career pathways. CNC machining continues to be a high-demand occupation with competitive wages and strong long-term career potential, and this partnership helps ensure more individuals can access those opportunities while supporting the talent needs of our manufacturing employers.”
