In our Web Development and Design Program, you’ll gain the skills you need to be successful in the field. To begin, you will obtain 27 credits in foundation courses, which will lay the groundwork for your chosen specialty. Then, you will select 15 credits within a specialization. The three areas of specialty from which you may choose are:
Prior to graduation, you will work with your classmates in a final capstone course. You will work on an individual portfolio, team-based service learning projects and your soft skills. This will consist of interviewing, traditional and online networking, promotional techniques, proper dress and appropriate demeanor to enter the workforce. You also may choose a web program internship to learn from a mentor within the industry and use this as an elective course.

Should you choose to transfer to a 4-year school, HACC has negotiated an agreement with Bloomsburg that will allow you to transfer with no loss of credits and complete a bachelor’s degree right here in Harrisburg. Yes! With approximately 200 scholarships available through the HACC Foundation, you have the opportunity to earn money towards your HACC education. To view eligibility requirements and learn how to apply, we encourage you to visit hacc.edu/scholarships.
