Alexandra Nuñez wasn’t sure what she wanted to study when she was considering college. HACC’s Gettysburg Campus was a good fit for her because it was inexpensive and close to home. She says she “wasn’t ready to leave the house,” so HACC gave her the opportunity to take college classes while still living at home.

Meet Ben: High School Achiever Taking College Classes

“I came to HACC in fall 2015 as a junior in high school to test into the dual enrollment program. I never took college or AP classes, but I knew that in return, I would receive college credit. In my first semester at HACC, I took two classes. In spring 2016, I took two additional classes. Now, as a high school senior, I am continuing to take college classes at HACC.”
