HACC Statement to Release Faculty Salary Statistics and Answer Commonly Asked Questions About Faculty Unionization

HARRISBURG, Pa. - HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, releases HACC faculty salary statistics and answers to commonly asked questions about faculty unionization.  

In 2024, 67.8% of 9.5-month faculty had gross wages over $80,000, and 73.7% of 12-month faculty had gross wages over $80,000. According to 2024 information from the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges, HACC adjunct faculty earn more money per class than any other PSEA-represented community college in Pennsylvania.

In addition, HACC released responses to commonly asked questions. The questions relate to the following topics:

  • General Questions
  • Student Questions
  • Administrator, Professional and Classified Employee Questions
  • Bargaining Unit Employee Questions
