Event: Workshop: I’ll be happy when…..
Dates: Feb. 4 from 11 a.m.-noon or Feb. 6 from 1-2 p.m. 
Location: Leader 139
Join me for an interactive exploration of how you can begin to impact your own happiness and influence those around you. Leave this workshop with a list of ideas to start implementing immediately. Follow up goal setting and consultation appointments with an academic counselor will be offered.

Event: Bystander Intervention Booth @ Disable the Label
Date: March 23 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Location: Glatfelter community Room, Cytec Building
Student Access Services will host the Disable the Label event with various interactive learning opportunities for participants to better understand the impact of living with a disability. Find the Bystander Intervention booth to learn more about the role you can play in addressing situations you deem problematic. Thinking through scenarios and identifying ways you can respond to situations increases the likelihood of a positive result for both the victim and your community. We are all responsible for creating the community we want to live in.


Campaign: Cure Stigma Day
Date: April 8
Location: Various Help support campus community members who are impacted by mental illness. Stigma leads to shame, fear, and silence. Stigma impacts early diagnosis of mental illness and delays treatment. Become a change agent who works toward containing and curing stigma. Students, faculty, and staff will be encouraged to wear green. There will be support stickers and pins for people to wear.

Learn more about stigma and take a pledge to be stigma free.


Workshop: Stress Less
Date: April 29 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 
Location: TBD – email for details Students are invited to rotate around the room at different sit-down stations where they will have the opportunity to learn about and practice coping strategies to combat stress and anxiety. Fill your coping toolbox to be ready for finals!
