Meet Christina: Became More Confident with STEP Academy
Christina Cylc, a former STEP Academy participant from Lancaster, said this about the program: “We worked on interviewing skills, presentation skills, became certified in First Aid and CPR and became OSHA certified. We also took several trips to the Lancaster HACC campus, so now I am somewhat comfortable with the school if I decide to continue my education there. They also used the online learning base D2L that HACC uses. After completing the Academy, I chose to stay with HACC and took a total of four classes through their online learning this year. They have helped me become more confident in myself, and I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to start taking college courses early.”
