What are your title and main job responsibilities?
I am the integrated marketing communications (IMC) coordinator for student success and special projects. My job responsibilities include all things that help our HACC students succeed. However, like my other IMC team members, I wear many different hats throughout the day.

What inspires you to come to work every day, and why?
As a former HACC student, I want to ensure current and future students have the same great experiences that I had. The knowledge that what I do on a daily basis matters is what inspires and encourages me to come to work. The decisions and efforts we make, matter.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve also never worked with or for such strong, dedicated, energized and inspiring females.

How do you interact with and engage students and excite them about attending HACC and learning?
My daily interaction with students is, unfortunately, minimal. However, I know our day-to-day work in OCA has a direct impact on our students.

What is one of your best moments as an employee at HACC?
Being a new HACC employee, one of my greatest moments is watching our students earn their degree, certificate or diploma at our Commencement ceremonies. I feel #HACCproud knowing I played a very small part in helping our students reach their educational goals and dreams.

What do you see as your greatest personal achievement?
My greatest personal achievement is graduating from Shippensburg University with high honors while being involved in a variety of different activities.

What energizes you the most and why?
For me, it’s exciting when a challenging problem is solved successfully. The positivity that consumes the OCA suite energizes me to do my best work.

If you could solve one community or national problem, what might that be?
If I could solve one national problem it would be food insecurity.

As you look to the future, what matters most to you?
Health and happiness is what matters to me most looking forward, not only for me but for my family as well.

How do you enjoy spending free time?
I enjoy spending time with family, traveling to new places, and being active outdoors.

Who's your biggest hero, and why?
My biggest heroes are without a doubt my parents! They have been married for over 30 years and I am beyond thankful for the personal and professional standards they’ve exemplified and encouraged me to follow.

What educational degree(s) have you obtained?
I have a bachelor’s degree in communication/journalism with a public relations concentration from Shippensburg University.
