As a first-generation college student juggling coursework, finances and personal responsibilities, Kemisha's academic journey has not always been easy. There were times when finishing her studies felt overwhelming. With flexibility, support and access to resources, she credits HACC for helping her push forward.
"HACC has allowed me to grow intellectually and brought out the best in me," she shared. "It's so hard juggling schoolwork and life, but HACC gives you the flexibility and support to keep improving, no matter what obstacles you face."
Enrolled in the Practical Nursing (LPN) program, Kemisha recognizes HACC's faculty for creating an environment where she feels supported and motivated. From online connections to in-person guidance, she appreciates her professors who consistently went above and beyond.
"I call the HACC team the 'HACC Avengers'," she said. "The professors genuinely want you to succeed. All the resources offered are truly there for your benefit and help you achieve your goals."
