Meet Our International Students
HACC welcomes students from around the world. Learn about a few of our international students.
Beata is a pre-nursing student from Romania.
She discovered the HACC York Campus while she was visiting Central Pennsylvania
on vacation. She decided to apply to the nursing program at HACC. When she
graduates, she will be more marketable as a nurse in Romania.
Karen is a Business Studies student from
Jamaica at the HACC Lebanon Campus. She has found leadership opportunities at
HACC. She is currently the Secretary of the Student Government Association and
the co-liaison for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She received the Campus
Services Student Award in May 2011. Karen plans to transfer to complete her
Bachelor's Degree in Business after graduating from HACC.
David is a Business Administration student
from the United Kingdom. He attends the HACC Gettysburg Campus. He enjoys
working for the Security Department and completed an internship in IT Support
Services. He plans to transfer to complete his Bachelors degree.
Yuna is from Japan. She has not decided on
her major yet. She takes general studies courses at the HACC Lancaster Campus.
She attended high school in the U.S. and plans to transfer to a four-year
university. She will complete her Bachelor's degree there.
Megan is a student from Canada. She is
currently taking pre-nursing courses at the HACC Harrisburg Campus. She is
looking forward to working abroad one day as a nurse. She appreciates the
opportunities available at HACC. She enjoys using her creative talents in the
Silk Screening Club and working in the Study Abroad office.
Mariia is the Secretary of the International
Awareness Club. She is from Ukraine. She studies pre-nursing at the HACC Harrisburg
Campus. She loves sharing her culture with others and exploring America with
new friends. She works in the Center for Global Education at HACC.
Han is a Business Administration student
from Vietnam. She attends HACC's Gettysburg Campus. She plans to transfer to a
four-year university to complete her Bachelor's Degree after completing her
general education requirements.
