The HACC Foundation offers multiple awards to faculty and staff Collegewide. Below is a tentative timeline for upcoming cycles, award descriptions and an application.

Martha J. Stauffer Mathematics Award: Amount Varies
The Martha J. Stauffer Mathematics Award will provide full-time mathematics and/or computer science faculty members with financial assistance toward a project that further develops the mathematics or computer science disciplines.
Bruce E. Cooper, Esq. Leadership Award: $500
The Bruce E. Cooper, Esq. Leadership Award recognizes HACC employees who have demonstrated results-oriented leadership in advancing enrichment of the College and its surrounding communities.
Dr. Jay Ebersole Faculty Initiative Award: Up to $1,500
The Dr. Jay Ebersole Award honors exemplary faculty members who demonstrate initiative in supporting HACC’s mission. This award will provide full-time faculty members financial assistance in professional, instructional and program development.
The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation Engineering Faculty Award: Amount Varies
The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation Engineering Faculty Award acknowledges outstanding faculty members who advance the engineering technologies field due to excellent student job placement and/or continuing education preparation. This award will provide full-time faculty members with financial assistance for personal teaching equipment, supplies, graduate study tuition, fees, workshops, seminars and/or professional travel expenses.
Betty Martin Staff Development Award: Amount Varies
The Betty Martin Staff Development Award creates a unique professional development platform allowing individuals to engage in nontraditional opportunities. This award will provide funding assistance to full-time HACC employees for opportunities such as workshops, seminars, travel, study or other opportunities not eligible for HACC funding.
To apply for these awards, please complete the online application form below. Be sure to include your essay in the corresponding space provided. Nominations for the Bruce E. Cooper, Esq. Leadership Award must be completed as a single application. All other award applications may include multiple applications and corresponding essays. Award applications will be reviewed by a committee, and candidates will receive communication via email from HACCscholarships@hacc.edu. Emailed documents will not be accepted, and incomplete applications will be disqualified.
