Please note the following important announcement:

1. The College received a report of Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) at the Lancaster Campus on July 7, 2025.
2. The areas involved include the library, Learning Commons and tutoring center.
3. These areas will be closed on July 8, 2025, for disinfection. HACC will use Moon Beam3 UV machines to disinfect and follow up with an approved  EPA product for disinfection.
4. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends the following to prevent further spread of C. diff:
   1. Washing your hands with soap and water
   2. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
