Dr. Ski Celebrates A Successful Final Bike Ride

HARRISBURG, Pa. - John J. “Ski” Sygielski, MBA, Ed.D., President and CEO of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is dedicated to celebrating the HACC community.

To commemorate his retirement and raise funds for the John J. "SKI" Sygielski and Steve Perrault Scholarship Endowment Fund, Dr. Ski biked to community partners July 8-10, 2025.

This year, Dr. Ski has: 

  • Traveled 213 miles in 2.5 days in honor of HACC students.
  • Celebrated with the Pennsylvania community, including many HACC colleagues and alumni.
  • Raised over $14,000 for the HACC Foundation to create opportunities for students in need.
  • Celebrated 14 years of excellence as president and CEO.
