"With the open house we are providing a venue for students who don't necessarily fit one particular mold," said Heather Watt, campus admissions recruiter. "We will address issues that are a concern for adult students and let them know we are available to help them get started on a new or improved career path at any time in their life."
During the open house, visitors will have the chance to meet adult students currently attending HACC Gettysburg and talk with them about their experiences. They also can meet faculty who will discuss available programs and requirements.
Advisors can help with information about the application process and financial aid. Tours of the campus will be offered.
Registration is now underway for summer and fall terms. Both the six-week and 12-week summer sessions begin May 19 and an eight-week session begins June 16. Fall semester classes begin Sept. 2. Classes for the late fall term start Sept. 22.
Registration is not required but is welcome by calling 337-3855 or go to www.hacc.edu and click on Gettysburg Campus for a registration form.
