Pennsylvania Medical Group Management Association and HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, are partnering to present the Medical Practice Administrators' Retreat on Friday, March 24, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The one-day seminar is designed to explore topics on the health care horizon of critical interest for office administrators, managers and supervisors of all varieties of medical practices, clinics and facilities. CEUs are provided by the Medical Group Management Association.

Demonbreun will speak from his 20 years of experience in health care, as well as from his heart as he delivers his view on "Sanity in an Insane Time." His experience spans all aspects of physician issues including operational assessments, valuations, income distribution plans, interim management, acquisitions and group formations.
He previously was director of Physician Services for a for-profit hospital company, an administrator of several single and multi-specialty groups in the Nashville area, and a vice president of a community hospital.
Additional speakers will present updates and information, current themes and topics including diversity, best practices, new liability issues, and managing accounts receivables.
Another hot topic on the agenda is the growing acceptance of massage therapy, its health benefits, and its integration into medical practices. Information will be available about HACC's new massage therapy program, which will begin in Fall 2006 in response to the growing demand for professionally trained massage therapists.
Cost for the all-inclusive day including keynote speaker, breakout sessions, lunch, vendor displays of services and products, on-hand demonstrations for relaxation and stress relief, and raffle drawings is $49 per person.
