HACC's Gettysburg Campus will offer Adult Living and Learning Seminars

If you're looking for the perfect spring getaway, consider a day of learning at HACC's Gettysburg Campus.

The Adult Living & Learning Seminars will be held at the Gettysburg Campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, on Thursday, May 19. The day will start with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. and includes two 1-1/2-hour sessions concluding at 11:45 a.m. Cost is $30.

The event is open to adults of all ages. Each of the two sessions includes eight course offerings. Those registering select a first and second choice for each session.

Session One from 8:30-10 a.m. includes seminars on the following topics: Hildegard of Bingen, Lydia Leister and Her Neighbors, Massage Techniques and Wellness Tips, The Rebs Have Arrived- The Events of June 26, Time Management (for people who don't have time to take a time management class), Songs & Stories of the Old West, Patchwork Painted Pots, and Natural Skin Care for Men and Women.

Session Two from 10:15-11:45 a.m. includes seminars on the following topics: Introduction to Aromatherapy, We Suffered Also: Civilian Tales of Gettysburg, Design and Build a Garden Labyrinth, Underground Railroad Activity in Adams County, How to Get More Organized, Songs & Stories of the Old West, Patchwork Painted Pots, and Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway.
