What is HACC’s program like?
Our program is ideal if you currently work in health care and have credentials. Your healthcare credential or licensure allows you to receive up to 30 credits towards the completion of the associate degree. You will select from one of the following areas of study to focus your coursework:
If you are interested in enrolling in the radiologic imaging option, you must have the primary certification or meet the requirements to sit for a primary certification from an approved medical imaging board.
If you have the following certifications, you may enroll in the vascular or pediatric imaging options:

Can I transfer my credits to a four-year college or university?
Our Health Science Program is designed for individuals who are currently employed in the healthcare field and possess a license or credential. If you wish to continue your education and pursue a bachelor’s degree, there are transfer opportunities. We encourage you to select a four-year school as soon as possible as each school has its own unique program requirements. It is important that you know what your desired school’s program requirements are early enough so that you can take the proper courses at HACC.

We offer all of the program options at one or more of our campuses, including Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon and York, as well as through Virtual Learning. We recommend consulting with your advisor to determine the availability at each location.

When can I apply?
We offer classes in the spring, summer and fall, and you can submit your application online anytime. When you apply, please be sure to include program code 3590 with your application. By using this code, you will correctly designate your intended program.
