Samaritan Scholarship Fund

Thank you for your interest in HACC’s Samaritan Scholarship. One full-ride tuition giveaway was randomly awarded to a current HACC student. The scholarship will cover all HACC-related expenses - including tuition, fees, books and/or program expenses - for the recipient.

The Nov. 14, 2025, deadline to apply for the opportunity for the spring 2026 semester has passed. Please continue to check this webpage for additional updates.

Loren Ragland, who is enrolled in HACC’s  Nursing Program, received the scholarship.

Information about eligibility is available online.

The full-ride scholarship will cover all HACC-related expenses, including tuition, books and fees.

If selected as a recipient, the student will be required to draft a thank-you letter to the HACC Foundation and agree to the scholarship award terms.

If the student:

  1. If they do not submit a thank-you letter, they will not receive the funding.
  2. Does not follow the terms agreed upon, they will no longer receive the funds. The HACC expenses will then become their responsibility.

HACC reserves the right to require the participant to refund the College if the awarded funds are used prior to the student’s sharing of any inappropriate gestures or remarks, vulgar language or dishonesty.

Now that the scholarship application has closed, the scholarship recipient was randomly selected.
