ALL--USA Community College Academic Team/PASSHE Academic Passport Scholarship

LL-USA Community College Academic Team, Coca-Cola ALL-State Community College Academic Team, New Century Scholars, and the All-State Academic Team: Candidates must have at least 36 college-level semester hours completed by December 31st., and be on track to complete at least 48 semester hours by August 31 st. Overall GPA must be at least 3.50 for all coursework (excluding developmental coursework) completed in the last five years (fall 2007-present). Once applications are received, each of HACC’s campuses will select two students to nominate for the overall awards program where candidates may be selected for a variety of scholarships.  Applications must be completed online at http://my.ptk.org/edge/ and must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on November 1, 2015. Altrusa International of South Central PA

Altrusa International of South Central PA, organized April 1955 and Chartered December 5, 1955, is a non-profit organization and part of Altrusa International, Inc.  Harrisburg area Altrusans seek to improve the quality of life for people in their community by engaging in a variety of projects, including the Annual Children's Literacy Project. Coca-Cola Scholarship Two-Year College Program

The Coca−Cola Scholars Foundation has announced the establishment of the Coca−Cola All-State Community College Academic Team program, providing up to $450,000 in stipends. .To be eligible for this program, students must submit an application for the All-USA Community College Academic Team and be selected as a nominee by their college. The application process opens in October and applications are due in early December each year. Students do not need to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa to apply. Cooke Scholarship (Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship Program)

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s scholarship programs are designed to encourage and support outstanding students who work hard and have financial need. Our scholarships provide financial assistance and academic support to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. The application period is open from January to April. Up to 65 Young Scholars are selected for this program each year. Final notification is in the early fall. Dohner Memorial Scholarship (Martha M. Dohner Memorial Scholarship)

Applicants must meet the following criteria: Be enrolled as a full time student in both the Spring and Fall terms; be a female student having completed at least 15 credits towards a bachelor’s degree by the end of May; attend an accredited college or university located in Dauphin or Cumberland County; be a permanent resident of Dauphin or Cumberland County; demonstrate academic achievement with at least a 3.25 GPA; and demonstrate financial need. Dr Pepper Million Dollar Tuition Giveaway

Dr Pepper is sponsoring a nationwide promotion this college football season in which they are giving away $1,000,000 in tuition assistance. Scholarship America's Scholarship Management Services is partnering with Dr Pepper to help distribute the tuition assistance payments. To enter the promotion, entrants must have access to the internet and the capability to upload a short video.  The promotion is open to anyone over the age of 18. GE Foundation/LULAC Scholarship Program

The GE/LULAC Scholarship Program will award $5,000 scholarships to qualified minority students who are enrolled as business or engineering majors leading to a bachelor’s degree at accredited colleges or universities in the United States who will be CLASSIFIED AS COLLEGE SOPHOMORES IN THE FALL. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: • Must be a minority student pursuing full-time studies leading to a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in the U.S. • Must be CLASSIFIED AS A COLLEGE SOPHOMORE in the fall semester. • Must have a cumulative college grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent. • Must be a business or engineering major. • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

George M. and Mary Jane Leader Scholarship

The George M. and Mary Jane Leader Scholarship was established specifically to support students from Harrisburg High School and Sci-Tech High School attending HACC during school hours to take college-level courses. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be a current junior or senior student from Harrisburg High School or Sci-Tech attending HACC during school hours to take college-level courses. Candidates must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA and have financial need. Gettysburg Area Personnel Association

This scholarship is available to all incoming freshman and current students residing in Adams County for the last five years; who are enrolled in 6 or more credits a semester, majoring in Human Resources/Human Resource Management or Psychology.  Students who apply are required to prepare a 200 word essay on their career aspirations and the advantage they see in seeking a career in Adams County. Grove Family Fund#1

Leader Scholarship Fund

Governor George Leader was very interested in providing education for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) and employed many of them in his nursing homes. NSF Robert Noyce Scholarship Program

Eligible applicants for a Noyce Stipend must have earned a degree in science or mathematics and make a commitment to completing certification requirements to teach secondary science or mathematics at a State System University within two years of the initial award. Applicants for Noyce Scholarship may be students currently completing a science or mathematics degree or post-baccalaureates holding a science or mathematics degree. Applicants must have a qualifying cumulative GPA 3.00, with preference for those with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. All applicants must be full-time students during each semester for which the award is received.  Applications must be postmarked by April 20 or October 20 each year. Post Secondary Educational Gratuity Program

Established to assist the children of PA police officers, firefighters, rescue and ambulance squad members, correction employees and National Guard members who died in the line of duty since January 1, 1976. Must be a resident of PA; be a child by birth or adoption of a deceased police officer, firefighter, rescue or ambulance squad member, correction employee or an active National Guard member who died as a direct result of performing his or her official duties; be 25 yrs of age or younger at the time of application to the program; and be enrolled in a PA community college, state-owned institution or state-related institution as a full-time student pursuing undergraduate studies that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree. STEM Scholars Program (SSP) (Immaculata University Transfers-Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics)

The grant will provide scholarships for community college transfer students to complete their four-year program at Immaculata University in biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science. These students must have earned at least 48 transferable credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Immaculata's STEM Scholars Program (SSP) will offer these students faculty mentors, SSP courses, monthly lectures, field trips, internships, and networking opportunities to foster students' research and leadership skills. Stewart Scholarship (Beatrice Priscilla Stewart Scholarship)

This fund was established in memory of Beatrice Priscilla Stewart by her family to provide academic scholarships to unwed/single parents of African -American descent who are the singular providers of income for their households.
