Important Notice About Pennsylvania State Grant Disbursement The 2025-26 Commonwealth of PA budget was signed into law on Nov. 12, 2025. PHEAA will resume awarding PA State Grant activities for the 2025-26 academic year and will look to initiate disbursements to colleges by mid-December. Eligible students should expect to receive fall awards in the spring. Please note that State Grant awards are estimates until eligibility is confirmed after your attendance is verified in all semester classes. Pennsylvania State Grant funds are not guaranteed and are based on PHEAA’s guidelines. Due to this, students should not calculate estimated PA State Grant awards when budgeting their financial aid.
